Signed Cartoonist New Yorker Framed Dog Cartoon Dressing up the Dog in Costume Frank Modell 1960s

$50.00

This is a great find - this hand signed drawing is by Frank Modell - an illustrator for the New Yorker among others He had several comics involving dogs . This one is 7.5X10 framed to 12X14 . The back of the frame is badly done - no paper on it, someone has removed it.. so it could be redone. Handcolored the iillustration strikes home - at least for us.. dressing up the dog --- to go out..

It reads "Whats more important that you don't catch cold or that people laugh at you "... likely something I would say!

I had it hanging for a while here at home, I purchased it at an estate sale several years ago based on content not on the illustrator.

I don't find a market for fake Modell's so I Believe it to be original.
If you need other images just let me know. Frame is metal style - black with matting as seen. Back is foam back with NO paper, I am guessing someone removed it and reused it ..

Additional

Generally, buyers pay the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.
Most sellers on Etsy are unable to predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied, and Etsy does not expect sellers to calculate or collect these fees or taxes. This information should be clarified in sellers' shop policies. You can learn more about shop policies here.
