Ullman Mfg Landscape Photo Mechanical Print 1900s Lake Side Scene Boating antique Print Narrow Footlong Image James Lambert

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is what is known as Image result for what is a photomechanical print A photomechanical print is a mechanical reproduction of a photo image that is printed in ink, often by a printer's press. Photomechanical prints are not the product of a photographic process; their supports are not light-sensitive, and light plays no direct role in image production. These were printed by Ullman Mfg in this period and I have two of these. This one is not marked Ullman but was purchased with the other that is mounted the same, and a quick search of Smithsonian Archives finds two others at least by Jas. Lambert were published by the company.

This one features a lake or river scene, a boat with a young couple on the shore, Cottage or house sits on the shore . It's really lovely and I think the 'chippy' framing makes it even better personally. It measures 14 inches long and 5 inches high. It is glass , adhered to board with black taping ,which as you can see is missing, two eyelets for hanging. Original framing and presentation. I love the scene. Love the tone of black and white - . I believe that this was a photo originally and then reproduced. Given the era photos of this nature, landscapes, etc. they were a new hobby for many artist.

Great Find and would look great in a farm house, country home, english cottage.

Generally, buyers pay the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.
Most sellers on Etsy are unable to predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied, and Etsy does not expect sellers to calculate or collect these fees or taxes. This information should be clarified in sellers' shop policies. You can learn more about shop policies here.
